Writing Headlines That Increase Reponse Rates over 2000%I could write an entire book on writing headlines that get amazing results... in fact, others have. However, there is some very basic information that will instantly improve your ability to create headlines that pull amazing response rates... and it requires less creativity than you might think. At the highest level, there are actually three basic types of headlines that statistically pull a higher than average response: A Powerful Statement – for example, if you are a chiropractor, STOP THE PAIN is a powerful statement, a bakery might use FREE FOOD. A powerful statement is usually short, to the point, and hits on the benefit. "Yes Questions" – questions are great headlines because they engage the reader and make them mentally interact with your marketing materials. The catch is that you want to write headlines that get the prospect to be answering “yes” to the question. Why? It is a positive – a psychological buy in. News Headlines – headlines which provide news and statistics have a higher than average readership rate also. For example writing headlines such as "10,000 People Visit Bakery This Weekend" or “88% of Visitors Rate Us the Best Bakery in Town". These are both considered News Headlines. So, why is writing headlines like these critical to your marketing success? Well, I'll let the statistics answer that one:
